I visited St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City and, when I saw Michelangelo's masterpiece La Pieta, I was so moved that my eyes filled with tears.
His work depicts the body of Jesus Christ on the lap of his mother Mary after the crucifixion.
I chose to embroider this card in honour of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary.
